Healthy Pancake with Bleuberries, Manuka Honey,
Royal NZ Pancake served with NZ Manuka Honey with Organic Blackcurrants

The nutritionist Adelle Davis famously said in the 1960s: “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.” We are all aware that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast should provide sustenance and energy for the hours ahead. According to some research, we should all be aiming to consume at breakfast around 300–500 calories daily for women and 375–625 for men. However, on the negative side, eating high-fat breakfasts too often has recently been demonstrated to increase the risk of atherosclerosis.

The healthy general rule is to eat a well-balanced breakfast, one that delivers its energy slowly throughout the morning.

Here is a recipe worth trying, it is nutrition-packed for body and mind, and a treat for your soul :-) This is for 2 servings
