Purifying Beetroot & Puha smoothie

We are so lucky to live in New Zealand and Northland specifically! Having access to all the fresh ingredients from our local growers markets in Whangarei area and we are so lucky to enjoy it in this breathtaking view at Langs Beach.šŸ˜šŸŒˆ


We crafted a simple purifying smoothie for all the sinners during holidays!šŸ˜‰šŸ”šŸ„“šŸ•šŸŸšŸŽ‚šŸ§šŸ¾šŸ„‚šŸøšŸ·It's ok! We all have indulged.😁


Ingredients:

1 medium beetroot

1 cup frozen Puha

1 bananašŸŒ

1 orange šŸŠ

1 cup homemade yogurt

1 tsp viberi blackcurrant powder

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp grated fresh ginger

2 Tbsp raw honey (you don't need to add ginger, when you use our honey & ginger)

Nuts (optional)


Mixed everything in blender and voilĆ ! Your smoothie is ready.šŸ˜‹

As always, some skin related facts about one of these main ingredient, Beetroot:


Beetroot acts as blood purifier and keep the skin glowing and healthy. Is rich in vitamin C (remember that is essential for building collagen!)

Is a unique source of Betalains (red pigments in beetroot) that are know to provide powerful antioxidantb and have detoxification properties.


1 cup Puha provide you with 165% RDI of vitamin C. It is a great source of Vitamins A, K, B6, Folate & Niacin (B3).
